Your life as a country was great. You had independence and your country was wealthy and healthy. You were once ruled over, depending on the country who once over-ruled you, but you were finally independence the day they let you go, and you were doing just fine. One day you got a call from the other countries, and they wanted to speak with you. You told them you'd be there and hanged up. You arrived some minutes later and entered the main room, where the countries were.

"You guys wanted to speak to me?" You asked closing the big door behind you. They all faced you with serious faces. Something didn't feel right about the tension in the atmosphere.

"_______, please sit down. We need to tell you something very important." England said pointing to your seat. You slowly walked over and sat down.

"So, what is it about?" You asked hesitantly. They all looked at each other and then nodded before looking back at you.

"_______, Ve vant your country. You can either pick vhich country to join vith, or ve can do it the hard vay." Germany said. You nervously laughed at what Germany said.

"You guys are joking...Right?" You asked nervously looking at them. They didn't smile, or laugh, they all looked serious, even America. That's when you knew they weren't kidding. You felt so furious, you stood up, slamming the table loud to make everyone flinch.

"I JUST GAINED INDEPENDENCE NOT TO LONG AGO AND YOU GUYS WANT TO RULE OVER ME AGAIN!?!?!" You exclaimed. You weren't happy at all. You wanted to beat them up with your own fist.

"Dude, all you gotta do is pick one of us and your done. No need to start war, but if you don't cooperate with us, then we will do anything, even start war." America said to you seriously.

"Why do you guys want to over rule me again?!" You asked all of them.

"You have the resources we need, and to be able to get those resources, we need your country, so you will pick, da?" Russia asked.

"NO! I will NOT become over ruled again! If you guys want war, I'll give you war!" You yelled out at them and slammed the table once again before kicking your chair far away and stomping out of the room. You were not going to be over ruled again, and you will keep independence with all the power you got.

~1 week later~

All the countries have been giving you a hard time. Your country has already started getting bombed. Your military force was great, but not great enough to defend the other countries because they gained up on you. They decided to unite and attack you. You sat at your desk, sighing and looking at papers. You needed more defense, but it seemed that it wasn't going to be anytime soon. You could feel yourself getting weaker and weaker every time they attacked your country. You had a little sister too, who was about 4 years younger than you. You needed to protect her with all cost, even if it meant sacrificing yourself. You decided to walk around and go to the military base. As you got there, you saw many soldiers injured and tired. It has been a week, but this will go on further more until they got your country.

"_______!" One of the military captains called. He ran towards you and nodded his head to greet you. You greeted him back by nodding your head back. After seeing all the other soldiers and captains, the main captain came up to you and talked to you about the military and about the other countries military force.

"It seems the Allies have all united and will be preparing to attack. We don't have a lot of soldiers anymore, and our weapons are almost out. What will we do?" He asked you worried and scared. You closed your eyes and thought of an option, but the only idea that came to your head was to run away, and flee. You opened your eyes again and faced the captain.

"Retreat." You said. That was the only word that came to your head, and out of your mouth. The captain looked surprised, but he stood in place.

"Are you sure we should retreat _______?!" He asked nervously. You nodded and went in front of the whole military base. You made a whistle noise, and caught everyone's attention. All eyes were on you, waiting for your command.

"Everyone, I know that it has been a week. The military base has been becoming more and more weak, and their military bases has been piling up and taking advantage. I know this seems wrong, but I want everyone to escape. Help the townspeople leave and escape this country too. I want to thank all of you that has served me. I won't forget your gratitude, and I won't ever forget the ones who died for me and theirs country. I can feel myself dying already, with this country. Please, take care of yourselves. It has been an honor working with you all." You said bowing your head. The soldiers cheered for you and started packing their stuff to head out, and went to get the people in this country to move somewhere else. You approached the main captain as he saluted you.

"Captain. I need you to do a favor for me." You told him.

"Anything you need." He said.

"Can you take my little sister into your hands? It would be devastating for me to watch my little sister see me this way..." You told him. He agreed and told you that he'll be picking your sister up tonight, and you nodded. Shaking his hands, you went back to you home. As you were walking home, you could hear the building of the towns collapse and see bombs being blown. You clutch your heart, as you can feel yourself weaker. Suddenly someone grabbed you by your arm and pulled you into a tight grasp.

"Are you gonna give up?" Asked the person who was holding you. You knew that voice anywhere, and it was England.

"Heh, You may be able to destroy my country, but you'll never take me." You said. You elbowed him in the stomach as you ran to your home. You needed to make sure you sister was safe. But as you ran, England was chasing you, and then you saw America and Russia blocking you pathway. You looked around to see a pathway going to the right. You quickly turned right when you were gonna reach Russia and America, making England and the other two crash against each other. You smirked and kept running, only to be blocked by china. You sighed in frustration as you reached him. He jumped in the air, and then came at you with a kick. You quickly ducked while sliding down past him. You quickly got up again and started running from the allies. The axis were no diffidence, as they tried to capture you too. You ran away fast from all of them and lost them, running fast to your home. Once you got there, you entered quickly and locked all the doors. You quickly went to your sister's room and opened it quickly. Your sister was drawing on her cute pink table, happily humming the lullaby you always sang to her. You smiled and approached her.

"Ah! Big Sis!!!" Your little sister said hugging you. You smiled and hugged her back tightly, not wanting to leave her. You then felt a burning sensation in your chest. You hid the pain and looked outside, to see that they were burning the trees and more. You grumbled to yourself and then looked at your younger sister again. You knelt down by her as she looked at you.

"What's the matter sis?" She asked you worriedly. You smiled and kissed her forehead. You then hugged her again as you hid your tears.

"(Your sisters Name), Your gonna have to get away from here, okay? The war outside is getting really bad and I don't want to see you get hurt." You told her, gently stroking her beautiful soft hair.

"Your coming with me right?" She asked hugged you tighter. You smiled sadly before taking your hands and cupping her face. You looked at her beautiful eyes that glittered and then kissed her forehead again.

"Big sis is suppose to stay here. So I asked one of my friends to take you...You'll be okay..." You said letting her head rest against your chest. You could feel wetness on your clothes, only to know that it was your sister crying.

"B-But you promised we'd be together forever...Please don't leave me alone..." She struggled to say over her tears. You smiled and kissed the top of her head that her hair covered.

"I know...and we will be...I'll never let you go..." you said rubbing her back.

"Can you sing me the lullaby?" she asked. You smiled and nodded, and started to sing the lullaby you always singed to her before she slept.

"Just close your eyes...The sun is going down...You'll be alright...No one can hurt you now...Come morning light...You and I'll be safe and sound..." You singed while you slowly rocked your little sister in your hands.

"Don't you dare look out your window, darling, Everything's on fire...The war outside our door keeps raging on...Hold on to this lullaby...Even when music's gone...Gone..." You singed softly to her, as you could feel your little sister going to sleep.

"Just close your eyes...The sun is going down...You'll be alright...No one can hurt you now...Come morning light...You and I'll be safe and sound...Oooh, Oooh, Oooh, Oooh, Oooh, Oooh, Oooh, Oooh, Oooh, Oooh...." You kept singing to her.

"Just close your eyes................You'll be alright......Come morning light.....You and I'll be safe and sound..." You finished singing the lullaby and looked at your little sister, curled up and sleeping. You could feel tears coming out of your eyes as you hugged your sister. You slowly walked with her in your arms, as you waited for your captain friend to come. He came about 5 minutes later, to see you holding your sister. You nodded at him as he slowly took your sleeping sister in his arms.

"Please...Take really good care of her..." You softly said. He nodded and walked away with your younger sister. You waved to them, seeing your younger sister sleeping in the arms of his. You went back inside the house, and closed the door softly. Your tears began running out of control as they fell like a waterfall. You slid against the door sat down, your hands covering your face, as your sobbed quietly.

~Allies and Axis POV~

"Hey dude...I...I don't want to hurt ______ anymore..." America said sadly.

"I have to admit....I don't want to hurt her anymore either..." England agreed for once with America. All the others said they same thing, but what they didn't know was they it was to late for _____.

"Hurting a women is painful..." France said sadly.

"Da...especially ______...." Russia told them.

"You know, We courd(could) have just traded with _____..." Japan suggested. They all were dumbfound before Italy yelled out something to them.

"Lets-a go find Bella!" Italy told the others. They nodded and began searching for _______.

~Back to your POV~

You walked into a field that used to be filled with all kinds of flowers, but was now like a dead desert. You walked across the dirt and looked up at the sky that use to be beautiful baby blue, now with a dark red mixed with gray smoke. You could feel your life being drained out of you as you walked into the middle of the field.

"Just closed your eyes...The sun is going down....You'll be alright....No one can hurt you now...Come morning light...." You singed as you closed your eyes and fell to the ground. You kept them closed as you used the last of your breath to sing the last verse.

"You and I'll be safe...and....sound~~~......" You singed and then you stopped breathing. Your heart stopped as you could feel the dark closing in, as the warm breeze blew against your skin. You managed to smile, and keep that smile on even after death...

~Allies and Axis POV~

"Did you guys find her!?" America asked yelling out to the others.

"No! Did you?!" England asked America looked around.

"No! Why would I asked you if you found her if I found her!?" America told England.

"Aiyah!!! She has to be around here somewhere!" China exclaimed looking in every direction.

"Where could the sunflower be...?" Russia asked while looking around too.

Suddenly they saw a body laying in the dirt, and it looked like _______. When they got closer, they knew it was ______ because of her (color hair) Hair.

"________!!!" Italy screamed running towards your body. The others followed Italy as he reached for ______ limp body. She was still smiling, as tears were in her eyes also. Japan took her hands into his trembling hands to see if there was any pulse. He desperately checked for it, but then he gently place her hands down and shook his head sideways sadly.

"OH GOD NO!" England screamed as his body fell to the floor, and he punched the ground hard.

"Vhy...Ve vere to late..." Germany said kneeling down besides Italy who was crying his eyes out. Russia covered his face with his large hands, and China rubbed Russia's back slowly while tearing up himself. America didn't want to look at _______, because he felt guilty, and mad at himself. Japan was sitting besides Italy too. France was crying, looking away from ______ too. They all felt guilty and sad for what they did to ______.

"B-Bella...." Italy sobbed while hugging ______ body close. Her body was getting colder by the second, but she was still smiling in place. They all stood there, only to hear the sounds of sobbing and the sound of the wind....now having to live with the guilt and pain......But _______ was now....Safe and Sound....
